Alison Webster (née Cartwright) was the first wife of Bill Webster and the mother of Kevin and Debbie Webster and grandmother to Rosie, Sophie, Jack and deceased baby Jake. Alison had died from breast cancer in 1980 when Kevin was fifteen and when Debbie was just twelve years old. In 2009 when Kevin's wife Sally discovered she had breast cancer as well, she didn't know how to tell Kevin as she knew how devastated he was about his mother's death.
