Anime and manga are a type of media originating in Japan. Manga (kanji: 漫画; hiragana: まんが; katakana: マンガ) is a type of Japanese comic book and often conform to a particular drawing and narrative style. Anime (アニメ), which is sometimes based off of manga, consists of Japanese animation. Anime and manga are directed at a range of age groups and covers a wide range of genre, including steampunk.
