David Robinson is the eldest son of John and Maureen Robinson in the 2004 pilot of The Robinsons: Lost in Space. David is around seventeen or eighteen and has a teenageD sister, Judy; a younger ten-year-old brother Will; and an infant sister named Penny. David struggles with his own identifiy in the shadow of his famous father who saved Earth from alien invaders. David feels inferior to both John and his genius younger brother Will. David seems to get along well with most of his family, but there is unresolved tension in the family arising from a lack of open communication.
