The Short Stop is a bar located on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. In April of 1994, LAPD Detectives Bill Burns and Jerry Edgar stopped at the bar to celebrate the capture of the Bicentennial Butcher. By 2006, the bar "offered valet parking and catered to the Hollywood crowd," effectively driving away its former law enforcement clientele.
