In their first tutoring session, Nathan opens a box of Cracker Jack and finds the bracelet as the prize in side. Despite Haley's weak protests he slides the bracelt onto her hand with the legendary words, "Don't say I never gave you anything." Later, at the Burning Boat Festival, Lucas says, "Nice bracelet," but Haley doesn't tell him that it's from Nathan.
