Codename Eagle is a computer game developed by Refraction Games and is often considered to be both the spiritual and technological precursor to the Battlefield Series and runs on the Refractor engine. Its moderate success prompted Digital Illusions CE to eventually purchase Refractor Games shortly after the game's release.
