Hekhsher Tzedek certification is not a form of kosher certification (and not to be confused with "hechsher") but has been described by supporters as complementary to Kosher certification. It was originated by rabbis within Conservative Judaism and has been endorsed by the Rabbinical Assembly, the international association of Conservative rabbis, but specific legal and procedural requirements for implementation of certification remain under development.
