Grik Mef was a Boshan soldier in the Republic Army, born in 45 ABY. Trained as a warrior on Bosh, his home planet, Grik joined the Republic Army two years before the outbreak of the war. Due to Boshans slightly longer lifespans than humans, Grik was still considered in his prime upon joining the Republic Army, and served with distinction in the lead up to 160 ABY. With the outbreak of the war, Grik was assigned to the Third Fleet and all its land actions.
