The Giant Hair Crossbow is an enchanted heavy crossbow +3. This weapon gives the user a +3 THAC0 bonus and it adds 5 points of missile damage to any bolt fired with it. It weighs 11 lbs., has a speed factor of 7 and like any normal crossbow, this has a fire rate of 1 per round. The bow requires 15 Strength to wield the weapon, instead of the usual 12. This weapon has nearly the properties as Heavy Crossbow +3, which is 1 lb. lighter and requires 12 Strength, but the crossbows becomes available during Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition. It's sold by Ribald at the Adventurer's Mart.
