Robert "Bob" Bennett was a male Human in Starfleet in the 23rd century. At one time, he served under then Admiral James T. Kirk. In 2286, Bennett and Kirk would find their positions reversed when Kirk was demoted to the rank of Captain for his actions in rescuing Captain Spock. (TOS novelization: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier) Later that year, Bennett again contacted Captain Kirk to warn him of a possible threat against a Federation-Klingon peace conference being held on Starbase 49.
