The box packaging promises, "With Postalettes you can have the warmth of a letter with the ease of a postcard." Two sets were released in 1981 -- a Pigs in Space set, and a picnic-themed set. A Christmas set, decorated with a photo of Kermit the Frog as Santa Claus, followed in 1982.
