Take The Sky is a short story in Still Flying that takes place after the events of Serenity. It is about Captain Malcolm Reynolds looking back on his relatively long and eventful life as he reaches the end of his days. It also goes on to explain what happened to the rest of the crew as they went their separate ways. The title may be taken from the theme song of the series.
