Michael Ward (born August 13, 1989 in Bathurst, New Brunswick) is a Canadian defenceman playing for the Acadia Axemen of Atlantic University Sport. He played major junior for the Lewiston MAINEiacs and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles from 2006 to 2010. The Tampa Bay Lightning chose him 197th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. In 2010 he joined Acadia University.
