Captain McDougal is a supporting character from DiC's Care Bears series who appeared in the 20th episode "The Old Man and the Lighthouse". He works as a lighthouse keeper who insures that all ships traveling at night reach their destination safely. Though he is viewed as a bit strange by some of the local children including Amy and Keith due to his isolating job, he is actually well-meaning and nice.
