Robert Hale is a former NASCAR driver from Tuscon, AZ. He competed in two Nextel Cup Series events in his career. He debuted in 1969, racing at Riverside. Starting 38th in the field of forty-four, Hale had early engine woes and struggled to a 36th place showing. Hale improved in his other event, racing again at Riverside in 1970. Starting 20th in the field of forty, Hale fell some thirty laps down but still drove to a solid 14th place effort.
