Tukarese is the official language of the nation of Tukarali. The language is a mix between the Rhaetan and Seleyo-Artanian linguistic families. The Tukarese language as it is today is not how it always existed. A linguistic evolution occurred around the 2700s and this gave birth to Modern Tukarese. This modern version is what is spoken by the Tukarese and Old Tukarese is virtually non-existent. However, Old Tukarese is still spoken among the secluded peoples of the rainforest, who remain largely disconnected from the modern world.
