The show has cultivated a reputation for sailing close to the wind in matters of libel with its satirical, light-hearted format. It is currently (as of July 2012 ) in its 43rd series. The show features Ian Hislop and Paul Merton as permanent team captains whilst the host has changed every week since Angus Deayton was forced to leave the show.
