Despite not posing as a villain in these games, Leatherhead nevertheless appears as a boss character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus. He is fought in the sewer tunnels, swimming rapidly and using tremors and pugilistic strikes to damage the Turtles. Like the TV series, the brawl takes place because of a misunderstanding, and the Turtles later befriend him. Leatherhead does appear in the DS version of the game as a boss fight and in a level or two where he teams up with the TMNT.
