All NPCs can be talked to, and many of them offer various services. To start a conversation, just click on the NPC. The desired topic can be selected by clicking on the yellow links in the NPC's talk, or selecting a topic from the list at the right. You can also write something in the text field. If the NPC has to offer any services, they will show up as buttons underneath the conversation.
