Gold is a rock that people like to mine and search for, and obsess over, and if they don't find it, then they cry forever and ever until they find something that is better, which will never happen, according to them, despite the fact that there are many better things out in the world than gold, and people just don't seem to be able to realize that, apparently obviously.
