This refers to a tactic viable yet difficult to pull off. During a ACU vs ACU confrontation one can forward their ACU until they are literally bumping the other and during this process you attempt to maneuver your ACU around theirs, causing their gun to stop firing as it becomes stuck with your build suite arm whilst you turn around the enemy ACU firing upon them. The commander backshot is successful when after a few seconds you are behind them, moving in a circle shooting them in the back as they attempt to rotate and face you but are unable to keep up. The term was coined by a player named Danza who used it often in the vanilla retail version of Supreme Commander. The downside is that it is a risky strategy that may get you both killed although succesful use of the commander backshot wil
