The Pearl Gate, also known as Exile's Gate, was the westernmost gate of Zakyo Toshi, and the gate nearest the Shinomen Mori. In 1125 the Naga entered the city through this gate. Ronin who caused too much trouble were marched out of the city through this gate. It was also the gate through which the city's eta entered and left every day for work.
