The second and final Shadow War (sometimes referred to as the Great War) occurred in 2260, in which the Shadows battled the combined forces of the Babylon 5, Minbari Federation, Narn Regime, the League of Non-Aligned Worlds, and the Vorlon Empire. While not technically the second Shadow War, this was the second war in which the younger races participated. The war came to end in 2261 with the final departure of the First Ones from the galaxy.
