Hendric Faile was the fleet commander of the Kathol Republic Navy, and commanded the Marauder-class corvette Triumph. In 8 ABY, Faile responded to a distress call from the Bravado III following the Battle of Episol. Discovering the New Republic corvette FarStar also on the scene, he ordered the vessel to stand down and prepare for boarding since all evidence pointed to the New Republic being responsible for the crippling of the Bravado III. He oversaw the capture of the vessel, using marines from his ship, and took the corvette and crew to Dayark.
