The Mostly Harmless Alliance has a history of representative democracy, a powerful voice of the people, and respect for all Hitchhikers. Throughout many different Charters and Documents, the MHA has lived to serve its people, and its people to govern the alliance. In the beginning, our Founders JimmyK, VinnyP, and R11ch established that a democratically elected council of five Senators governed the Alliance; whose decisions and votes were viewable for all members to see and discuss. In creating MHA, they established an alliance that was run for the people - by the people.
