The middle schoolers catch up to the high schoolers, 4-4. Fuji asks Shiraishi if he was wearing that during the nationals, to which Shiraishi replies he forgot about it. The high schoolers begin to panic. However, Miyako does some thinking and realises the weakness of the Kirihara/Shiraishi pair is actually Kirihara. So he takes him out. After Kirihara gets hit some more, Kirihara reveals a new mode, Sane Devil Mode. Shiraishi/Kirihara manage to win 2 more games, winning the match. The Singles 2 match begins.
