Prior to appearing in the Street, Michael had been active in TV and films from 1962 -mainly in individual parts rather than in series: including appearances in Henry VIII and His Six Wives (as Edward Seymour), The Eagle has Landed, A Bridge Too Far, Champions, Buster and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Since his departure from the programme, other credits include roles in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:Part 1, The Body Farm, Casualty and Lightfields.
