Lunar Moths are native inhabitants of the Earth's moon in "The Guardians of Childhood" series. The lunar moths become protectors of the baby MiM. When MiM was still very small, a moth came to him every night and flew him into the stars so he could see his parents's constellation. The Lunar Moths remain constant friends with the Man in the Moon to this day.
