The Wulfen Sword was an heirloom of the Lupravian ruling family, descended from Dragomir Wulfen. By the time this noble clan came to its end, the Wulfen Sword was in the possession of Count Varcolac, a member of the re-formed Cadre Infernal, who sacrificed it to a Wolf Demon in order to acquire still greater power. After being possessed and cursed with Lycanthropy, however, the blade now held power over its former owner, and was wielded against him by a wandering traveller also infected with Lycanthropy, by the Count's half-mad brother Garoul Wulfen.
