The Tilonian system was a system where the Tilonian species live. Their government fell into anarchy in 2369. At the time, several factions were vying for power. (TNG: "Frame of Mind") In 2374, the USS Phoenix was ordered to this system for research purposes, but due to confusion, accidentally went to the Tiloniam system instead.
