The Terror-class super battle carrier was a ship design created for the intent of being a mobile tactical weapon and campaign headquarters. It was one of the designs for the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer, but because of its destructiveness and size, it was quickly scrapped in a vote by the Imperial Senate. However, Palpatine had at least one built in secret to be Marcus Lai's flagship after his own flagship was destroyed while he was on his galactic Force-sensitive pilgrimage, so that his own son would have become his chief enforcer in the galaxy alongside Darth Vader.
