Kitty is Dinah's black kitten and Snowdrop is her white kitten and characters of the Lewis Carroll's novel Though The Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There. Kitty, who assumes the role of the Red Queen, and Snowdrop, who assumes the role of the White Queen, appear in chapters I and XII.
