Details of the life of Akodo Hirano were greatly unknown. His reign as Lion Clan Champion was remembered only because of a letter to him from Ikoma Yuri regarding a confrontation between Bayushi Kiyogimi and an unnamed emissary of the Crab Clan that had survived to this day within the records of the Lion Clan.
