Alice Battisti was a cadet at Starfleet Academy in the 2360s. While at the Academy, Tom Paris liked her, finding her intelligent and beautiful. Unfortunately for him, she was absolutely uninterested in him, so Paris referred to her as "the lost cause". In 2376, Paris named the shuttle Alice after her. (VOY: "Alice") This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
