Matthi orJurbes was a male Payav of the nation-state of Larenda on planet Mestiko. He spent sixty seasons in public service, as a Servant in the Larendan Convocation. He was noted for the strength of his convictions, and was a vocal defender of those with similarly strong beliefs, particularly when they went against the status quo. As an elder statesman, he served as mentor to Raya elMora during her first season as a Servant, and continued a professional friendship for several seasons after. Matthi also encouraged Raya to expand her sphere of influence within the Convocation.
