Mallory was always treated like a child and was always watched by her guards, as well as made to wear princess dresses. On the night of a masquerade she decided to escape the embassy and go see the city. She watched a couple street performers until noticing a televised news report claiming she had been kidnapped. She was shocked to think she had caused a scandal when she simply wanted to see the outside world, and hailed a cab to return to the embassy.
