It makes sense for secutiry purposes, but we suspect that the Vespers had other reasons for choosing such a grim location. If you're looking to intimidate (or terrify) low ranking members of your organization, a dark labyrinth surrounded by dead bodies is the place to do it. You can say a lot about the Vespers, but you can't argue that they don't have style. It's just a little twisted."
