The USS Columbia was a Starfleet vessel in service during the Dominion War. In 2371, the Columbia was diverted to the Veridian star system by Admiral Alynna Nechayev to assist the USS Enterprise-D against deranged El-Aurian scientist Tolian Soran, but the Columbia arrived too late, instead helping to evacuate the survivors of the now-destroyed Enterprise from the planet.
