Sigma Omega Epsilon Sorority (ΣΩΕ, official name Sigma Omega Epsilon Incorporated) is a Greek-letter society, founded on October 3, 1994 at the City University of New York at the College of Staten Island. With the help of the fraternity brothers of Delta Omega Epsilon, It was joined together by Sister Jennifer Kary and Sister Maria Consentino to form a bond of friendship. Later more chapters were opened at SUNY College of Technology at Delhi (1995), St. Francis College (1996), SUNY College at Oneonta (1997), SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill (1999), SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville (2002)Onondaga Commuunity College (2012) and are still expanding.
