The Waterfall of Wishing is a location from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It houses a Mysterious Pond that can only be accessed after Link has acquired the Zora's Flippers from Zora. Once Link obtains the Flippers, he can duck behind the Waterfall of Wishing and enter the Mysterious Pond. Here, Link can toss items into the water, causing a Great Fairy to appear, returning upgraded versions of various items thrown into the pond. Link's Boomerang can be upgraded to the Magical Boomerang, and his Fighter's Shield can be upgraded to a Red Shield. Also, any empty bottles thrown into the pond will be filled with Magic Medicine.
