The Vampirel is a bat-like monster about the size of Remobra that swarm from the skies in the night. They are considered just a nuisance to many, as they love to swarm around hunters and small monsters. However, due to their large numbers and paralyzing neurotoxin spit, they can become a serious threat if a hunter is not careful. Vampirel are first introduced in Monster Hunter: Wyvern Instincts.
