Kassido was a planet in the Juvex sector of the Mid Rim, part of the Senex-Juvex region. It was located at the junction of the Senex-Juvex Loop, the D'Aelgoth Trade Route, and the Kassido Bypass. It was the homeworld of the noble house of the same name. Kassido was one of the most populated systems in the Senex-Juvex region, and its position on the trade routes meant that it engaged in extensive trade with systems Coreward in the D'Aelgoth sector. Such commerce made House Kassido extremely rich, but also caused other noble houses in the region to look down on them for trading with outsiders.
