The Free Coruscanti Army, abbreviated FCA, was an insurgent group founded on Coruscant in 3 ABY, to combat the Galactic Empire. During the massive protests and riots that began that year on Coruscant, the leadership of the more radical and extremist sect of the protestors came into contact with the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The Rebellion was willing to supply weapons and equipment to the FCA, and had a number of it's agents on the planet, sabotaging the Empire and aiding the protests. The FCA was formed with about 7,000 total insurgents, though an additional estimated 4,000 insurrectionists fought against the Empire independently, outside of the Army. The goal of the organization was to free Coruscant of the Imperial government.
