Built in conjunction with specialists from Celesta, the KR0 Stone Soul is the Jade Empire's answer to poor Patriot discipline and the threat of Mnggal-Mnggal. After an unfortunate incident involving hive-mind-infected Patriots, the Empress determined that the Jade Empire should be able to field a dedicated melee unit immune to Mnggal-Mnggal. The Stone Soul model is an approximate match for most high-echelon duellist or anti-Jedi droids. Armed with a songsteel kiai'ta, and programmed based on the swordmaster Akemi Nakamura, it is more than capable of putting down Forcer prison breaks on Armitage, going toe to toe with Blazing Chain and Sorcerers of Rhand, or duelling Jedi Knights. It often accompanies Patriots in the slums of Trevel'ka.
