A netbook is a small, low-cost notebook designed primarily for internet usage. A cruder way of putting it is to say that they are a kind of laptop that's only good for web browsing: their screens are too small for graphics editing, their keyboards are too small for touch typing, and their processors and graphics chipsets are too slow for gaming.
