The MH-53 Pave Low is an overall heavy lift helicopter. But in the aspect of troop carrior and extractions, the Bell/Boing V-22 Osprey is better. Though the MH-53 has a capacity of 50+ troops and the V-22 only 25, the V-22 is a VTOL aircraft (vertical take off and landing), traveling much faster than the '53 can. The osprey can make three trips for every one that the '53 makes (theoretically depositing 25+ more troops on deck than the MH-53).
