Zane Howell, born June 29, 1922 is a former NASCAR driver from South Bend, IN. He competed in one Sprint Cup Series event prior to his death on April 12, 2002. That race came in 1952, when Howell raced at South Bend. Starting 17th in the nineteen car field, Howell crashed shortly after the halfway mark. He finished 14th as a result. Stats
