Harold of Winchester was a noble of Nottinghamshire and an old friend of Edward of Knighton. He appears in one episode, "For England...!". When first encountered, it is believed that the sheriff is going to force him to sign the pact of the Black Knights under duress. However, it is quickly discovered that he is a Black Knight in earnest, hoping to get rich and earn Lady Marian as his wife (mostly in revenge against Edward, whom he feels "stole the woman he loved"—Kate, Edward's wife and Marian's mother).
