Amy Searles has appeared on Coronation Street sporadically between July 2005 and April 2011 as an unnamed Police Officer. Upon a return to the programme in February 2012, the character was credited with the name of PC Carson, with additional appearances between December 2012 and January 2017. A graduate of the Arden School of Theatre, her other television roles include Blue Murder, Shameless, Doctors and Casualty while at the Manchester Library Theatre she appeared in a revival of the Alan Ayckbourne play If I Were You in 2008.
