Using his computer at his parents’ home in Sturbridge and renting server space, Brunell started what he believes was the first sports blog network, the Most Valuable Network, [December 31 2003] during his senior year at Tantasqua Regional High School. “A friend and I,” Brunell said via e-mail, “decided instead of venting to each other about our favorite teams (Red Sox for me, Pirates for him), we would start venting to the world.”
